Sowing Dreams

I love to garden; the mystery of the seed fascinates me. We plant, we water, we wait. Some seeds germinate very quickly, while others take much longer, to a point you almost give up and then pop, out it comes!

As a gardener all I can do is water that seed, give it time and have faith that God will take care of the rest.

Our dreams are a lot like seeds; they are planted in our heart and mind and we need to allow them to germinate, some taking longer than others. But Faith keeps those dreams alive when their germination is taking a lot longer than expected. Those seeds seem like they were buried too deep and lost.

Jesus reminds us: "And he said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’ and it will move and nothing will be impossible to you."  Matthew 17:20.

That's how I feel about Sobremesa Farm Kitchen; the dream is there. Even though we had to stop and reset, I have faith that this seed that was planted years ago will produce more fruit than I could ever imagine; It was a God Idea that was planted.

We will Keep praying, keep obeying, keep giving, keep loving and most importantly We will keep serving.
