Our Story

In 2018, our paths crossed by the grace of God and our lives have forever been changed. Talk quickly began of how we could combine our love for good food and cooking with our deep passion for mission work.

What was only conversation and vision became a reality in 2021 when we launched the Sobremesa Charitable Foundation. We hit the ground running with support from friends and family, and the concept of an "Underground Kitchen" quickly took off.

Our Passion

On July 19, 2023 our story and path took a 360° turn! Ty was diagnosed with alpha gal syndrome, or AGS, an allergy to the sugar of mammal protein.

So with that, we are changing Sobremesa Farm Kitchen. We will continue to serve a fine dining couresed meal with wine pairing, but the meals will look a little different. All meals served in our kitchen will be alpha gal friendly! No worries for cross-contamination.

Anyone can participate in these meals, but this allows for safe participation not only for Ty but for the thousands in our area that suffer with this diagnosis. We are unsure at this time if pizza nights at the farm will continue.

We put our faith and trust in God and will continue strive to expand his kingdom here on earth through Sobremesa Farm Kitchen.

Our Mission

Everything at Sobremesa Farm Kitchen is a free-will donation and proceeds go towards our mission fields here in Northwest Arkansas and in India.

In NWA, we want to bring awareness back to the home and the dining table, where there is a deep need for families to slow down and bless each other with conversation and love over a meal. We will also be bringing awareness and passion to the AGS community while striving to educate people throughout Northeast Arkansas about alpha gal syndrome.

In India, we support Jesus Mission. They are bringing the love of Jesus to the untouchable Hindis in Titagarh, Kolkata, India, as well as the Sharon Tailoring School for abandoned and widowed women, where the women learn a skilled trade and about the love of Jesus.

We are very passionate about what we do and have faith that in the years to come our vision will only grow.
