The Power of Hospitality

guests becoming fast friends at Sobremesa Farm Kitchen fine dining restaurant in Northwest Arkansas

"Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." - Hebrews 13:2

People ask us all the time if it bothers us to constantly have strangers come into our home.  Our answer is always "absolutely not!"

God has gifted us with hospitality; for us to ignore that gift by shutting our doors off would be saying that we don't trust in God. Hebrews 13:2 beautifully puts it: show hospitality to strangers, by doing this people have entertained angels without knowing it.

When people enter our home they may be strangers but by the end of a meal at Sobremesa Farm Kitchen they have become friends, not only with us but with each other.

Sharing a meal at a table with strangers takes us all out of our comfort zone, but it produces such amazing results; it changes the community forever. God knows what he's doing when he gifts someone with hospitality; it brings strangers together and changes lives.
