Spring Reminders

Every year, as I get older, the more amazed I become with God during springtime. It's a healthy reminder that God is always present.

Winter months are seemingly so long and grey with little life and just when it seems like it's too much and has been too long Spring arrives with new life and beauty. It's a great example of our daily lives. Sometimes we go through a season of pain and darkness but right when we think we can't do it any longer God shows us the beauty and newness. He reminds us that he is always there even if we can't see him.

During the winter months I always remind myself of one of my favorite passages from the Bible: Matthew 6: 26-27 "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?  Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
